1999 was a year for music ska Indonesia. In many emerging ska group that it is becoming a trend at that time. Pioneer course Tipe-X group who released the album Ska Phobia in the same year. The album received positive response in the community, following the rise of other groups carry the same kind of music.
Some of the group had not released an album itself gets a chance to introduce their songs in a compilation album. Ska compilation album in the year 1999 alone there were two, one was given the title Musica Studio production SKA KLINIK, one more production of Sony Music Studio was given the title SKA MANIA. Ska Mania album was catapulted single Siti Aminah who brought the group Collonyet.

Tahun 1999 menjadi tahun ska bagi musik Indonesia. Di tahun ini banyak bermunculan kelompok ska yang memang sedang menjadi tren waktu itu. Pelopornya tentu saja kelompok Tipe X yang merilis album Ska Phobia di tahun yang sama. Album itu mendapat sambutan positif di masyarakat, berikutnya bermunculanlah kelompok-kelompok lain mengusung jenis musik yang sama. Beberapa kelompok yang tidak sempat merilis album sendiri mendapat kesempatan mengenalkan lagu mereka dalam album kompilasi. Album Kompilasi ska sendiri di tahun 1999 ini ada dua, satu produksi Musica Studio diberi titel SKA KLINIK, satu lagi produksi Sony Music Studio diberi titel SKA MANIA. Album Ska Mania sempat melejitkan single Siti Aminah yang dibawakan kelompok Collonyet.
